Mamma Caura

Even at night the location was beautiful as the windmills were lit up. The restaurant had lovely Christmas decorations, lit up outside. Staff were outside, we asked if they were open for food as it was advertised online. They said OK but I did feel as though it wasn't. Inside service was good. The food was delicious, I had the mushroom risotto which had lovely flavours. My partner had the white rabbit pasta and he said it was delicious. We both had a cocktail which were good. We were the only diners at 7.30pm until as we were leaving another family came in to eat. Overall delicious food.

While travelling sight seen valley of seasides, you can find this awesome place. I was pretty surprised when you met so friendly manager and smiley people, within you can meet here great food, with all Italian traditions and something more interesting. By the way — coffee was delicious and sea view gives power to travel further, and fall in love with Sicily.

Restaurant with amazing atmosphere with a view on mulino and sunset. We took fresh oysters, tartare from red shrips, seafood fritura, lemon risotto based on Marsalas’s wine and cous cous with seafood. All them was really great. I recommend this restaurant!

Beautiful place, we did the salt flats visit in English and had the aperitivo on the rooftop.

Today brought a bit of serendipity: I visited the salt plains near Marsala and discovered Sei Mamma Cara, a restaurant with stunning views of the windmills and shimmering salt pools. The setting is truly *bellissimo*—I can only imagine how magical sunset must be here. For lunch, we enjoyed local specialties: fresh tuna and amberjack, both beautifully prepared to highlight their natural flavors. The seafood was perfectly complemented by a crisp Catarratto wine, a Sicilian classic known for its citrus and mineral notes that pair so well with the region’s fish. Contrary to some reviews, the service was attentive and friendly, even in the 34-degree heat. The menu and wine list were extensive, and everything we tried was excellent. I’d return in a heartbeat for a sunset dinner and drinks—this place is a true gem on the Sicilian coast.

their only pasta dish with no fish was portioned quite small, but it was absolutely delicious and the sides are also delicious, amazing view of the sunset from the restaurant aswell

Outstanding views, good food. The music was a bit different and louder than I would like but the locals seemed to enjoy it. Definitely try to go at sunset. FYI, they charge 10€ during reservation, but this gets applied to your bill. It’s not a separate charge.

Place is really cute with unbelievable views of sunset and salt pools. Colors in the sky were amazing and also enjoying a nice dinner. Staff really helpful and kind and they even check about allergies and any food restrictions before serving food. This would be a great place for a romantic dinner!!!
